Corporate print service providers have seen how digitalization of workflow has impacted the market, in addition to dramatic growth in facilities management and outsourcing. The CAP Ventures study will examine the full range of corporate printing services, from central reproduction departments to the mailroom that performs production copying and printing. It will determine what is really transpiring in the world of corporate printing services, define the various segments of the corporate printing services market, and offer insight into what is produced on-site versus off-site today and in the future. The study will examine the speed and nature of the migration to electronic distribution of internal and external corporate information at the expense of overall print volumes, as well as the proliferation of distributed multifunction peripherals’ impact on print volumes in centralized corporate print services facilities. A forecast for printing equipment and facilities management/outsourcing, as well as the expected future share of digital monochrome and color page volumes will also be included. The study results will help to better define opportunities in the market and formulate a vision of the in-plant corporate printing services of the future.
