(Weymouth, MA) March 02 2004…A recent forecast document from CAP Ventures indicates that the consumption of all-in-one (AIO) toner cartridges reached $7.2 billion in 2002. This number is expected to reach $10.1 billion by 2007, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7%. Aftermarket penetration is expected to remain between 30% and 35% over the forecast period. For the past two years, aftermarket share has been slightly declining due to the rapid changeover of engines. By 2005, however, CAP Ventures believes that the aftermarket will re-assert itself and quickly gain share as it offers products for the newest engines.
