InfoTrends believes that the overall office document solutions market in Russia will experience healthy year-over-year growth throughout the forecast period. In terms of software solutions, Russia is in the middle of the BRIC (Brazil, India, Russia, China) pack because of its heavy government spending on technology and technology education. When it comes to document solutions, the market still has plenty of room to grow in comparison to hardware revenue. In addition, due to the sheer size of the market, Russia’s revenue (valued at $19.3 million U.S.) eclipsed Brazil’s. InfoTrends expects the Russian market to show a CAGR of 35% over the forecast period, reaching total revenues of $87.8 million in 2012. Of the four solutions categories, capture routing had the highest initial and ending revenues for the forecast and the highest CAGR. Document Management solutions accounted for the second highest CAGR, followed by Document Output and Device Management.
