Introduction This research was conducted to gather information about the size of the market in North America. It provides details on the usage and longevity requirements for large format fine art prints, determines production trends, and establishes leading brands of hardware and supplies. Market Size Over the past five years, improvements in inkjet printing technology have enabled explosive growth in digital fine art printing. CAP Ventures estimates that the North American digital fine art market was valued at $290 million in 2003, and it is expected to reach $600 million by 2007. This represents a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 20%.
