InfoTrends Releases Central & Eastern European Single-Function Printer & MFP Market Forecast for 2009-2014

(Weymouth, MA; Luton, U.K.) July 07, 2010 . . . InfoTrends has announced the release of its Central and Eastern Europe single-function printer and MFP market forecast.  This document provides a market forecast for single and multifunction printers placed in the office environment in the Central & Eastern European region, with actual placements for 2009 and a forecast to 2014.

The CEE region was hit hard by the financial crisis, and recovery in some country regions is not expected until 2012 as a result. Business inkjet and multifunction devices are expected to grow the fastest, with inkjet devices projected to return to growth in 2010, maintaining a CAGR of 4.2% through 2014.

Deborah Hawkins, a Senior Consultant at InfoTrends, stated, “Office laser devices will face the greatest challenge in resuming typical growth rates as business financing is not readily available. Nevertheless, the CEE region is clearly not yet saturated, and a 2.7% CAGR is expected through the end of the forecast period, driven by colour and A4 devices.”

Data for the Central and Eastern Europe single-function printer and MFP forecast is provided in presentation and pivot table format. Countries covered include Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the Ukraine.
