InfoTrends’ Industry Experts to Present at Print 09


(Weymouth, MA) September 10, 2009 . . . InfoTrends is pleased to announce that several of its industry experts will be sharing their market knowledge and insights at Print 09, taking place September 11 – 16 at McCormick Place in Chicago IL. Speakers from InfoTrends, including Group Directors Jim Hamilton and Barb Pellow and Consultant Justin Searles, will be speaking on a variety of highly relevant topics at the event.

Jim Hamilton will be presenting in Kodak’s booth at Print 09 in a session on the economy entitled “Fight or Flight.” This panel, which will also include Jeff Hayzlett of Kodak and Andrew Paparozzi of NAPL, will discuss how the economy is affecting the industry, what to expect in 2010, and what needs to be done to come out stronger when the economy recovers. Hamilton will also moderate an “Under the Hood” session with Kodak’s Ronen Cohen. In addition, Hamilton will be speaking in one of Xerox’s “Real Business Live” sessions in the Xerox booth. The topic of this session will be “A Perspective on the Future of Digital Color.”

Barb Pellow will also be participating on a panel in the Kodak booth in a session entitled “…And Who Knows What Else?” The panel will also include Bill Esler of Graphic Arts Monthly and Jeff Hayzlett of Kodak. This session will take on the format of an informal discussion about the industry, with the speakers stating the facts (as they see them), asking questions, answering questions, asserting their opinions, and who knows what else. Pellow will also be leading a session at the Canon Theater entitled “Winning in this Economy” and participating in a panel discussion at the Print CEO Forum entitled “Putting Social Media to Work in the World of Print.” In addition, Pellow will present a session entitled “It’s Time to Transform your Business” at the Print CEO Forum.

Lastly, Justin Searles will be participating in a panel discussion at the event entitled “Are We There Yet? Digital Printing Readiness Debate.” In this session, Searles and a panel of experienced consultants who work with digital process and applications on a continuing basis will probe the current real world status of digital printing and its developing prospects, providing information that will assist printers in their process and application planning.
