CAP Ventures Research Indicates that Inkjet Solutions are Fueling Growth in the Large Format Digital Printing Market

(Weymouth, MA) October 22, 2003 ….The large format digital printing market is a large and exciting opportunity, growing at double the rate of the overall print industry. In CAP Ventures' new report entitledWorldwide Large Format Hardware and Supplies Forecast: Part I, analysts examine the large format market, forecast future growth rates, identify key growth segments, and discuss trends and developments in the industry.

Part one of the annual forecast covers three imaging technologies: aqueous inkjet, solvent-based inkjet, and laser/LED. • Worldwide large format supplies revenues are expected to grow 5% per year despite price deflation and globalization.

Part two of the annual forecast, scheduled for delivery in December 2003, will examine the vertical markets adopting the three technologies of aqueous inkjet, solvent-based inkjet, and laser/LED on a segment-by-segment basis.
