Moms More Likely Than Other Consumer Segments to Order Photo Prints Online


The digital photography market has evolved considerably over the past several years, and InfoTrends has observed that mothers with children living at home tend to differ in their habits. This section explores whether moms have ordered photo prints online. It must be remembered that although many people choose to upload or view photos online, this does not necessarily mean that they will order prints online. That said, those who don’t print online may be printing by other means.

As shown in the Figure below, moms were considerably more likely than total respondents to report ordering digital photo prints online in the past year. As it turns out, online ordering appears to be much less common than online uploading or viewing, even among moms. That said, the number of moms who do order prints online is substantial and should not be ignored.
