Chris Bondy is Group Director of Cross-Media Workflow Solutions at InfoTrends. In this capacity, he works with technology vendors, print/marketing service providers and enterprise marketing executives on strategy and technology implementation planning through custom engagements and syndicated services.

With over 3 decades of industry experience, Chris has an extensive background in strategy, business development, product planning, process reengineering, and sales/marketing for commercial printing, publishing and in-plant printing companies, and manufacturers of graphic arts and marketing communication products and services. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Chris was the Chief Technology Officer for Direct Mail Holdings (DMH). At DMH he conceptualized and launched several next-generation Web-services solutions for consumer photo memory products and digital asset management. He also standardized all information technology applications across DMH by driving common use of key software solutions including ERP (PrintStream), Composition (GMC) and Postal Optimization (Business Objects and Monticello).

Chris also has experience working for leading technology vendors including Kodak and Xerox. At Kodak's Graphic Communications division he was Vice President, Worldwide Director, Professional Services & Solutions. His positions at Xerox included Vice President, Marketing & Practice Management and Vice President & Chief Engineer, Production Solutions Business Team.

In addition, Chris designed and taught a course in electronic publishing at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and developed a technical seminar on “Digital Printing” that covered color science, printing architecture, the history of page description languages, RIP/DFE systems, and variable printing. Chris also co-wrote the “Color Copier/Printer Assessment,” a comprehensive review of three key digital printing systems; created a tutorial on the electrophotographic process; and designed and wrote PC Magazine Editors Choice award winning course, “Publishing with Ventura,” an audio, video and workbook training system. Chris also has several patents in process and was awarded US patent 7,142,326; Methods and Apparatus for Variable Data Document Printing.

Throughout his career Chris has been an innovative thought leader and change agent for process automation and digital transformation of the communications value chain. Chris has extensive background developing and integrating workflow solutions from both the manufactures’ and service providers’ perspective. He has the ability to synthesize complex workflows and conceptualize and lead the technology selection, cultural transformation, development and deployment of efficient digital and hybrid workflows.

Chris studied Graphic Design and Mass Communications at Ambassador College and received his Bachelor of Science at New York Institute of Technology in Interdisciplinary Studies; Business Marketing, Behavioral Science & Graphic Design. He received a Masters of Engineering and Science in New Product Development from Rochester Institute of Technology.
